ECatalog Manager/Item prices
An item supports the adding of as many prices as you need.
Price list
This screen allows adding multiple prices for the current item that is being edited. A new price can be added using the command Add located in the toolbar.
The price row has the next important commands at the right side:
Have into account that this attribute works in conjunction with the global parameter at business level defined at Configuration >> Business profile >> Order placement behavior. |
- Up & Down arrows: allows to change the order of prices.
The first visible price in the list is the only one that is shown in View at 2 levels and Multilevel view. |
- Selector (box icon): allows to select an element to make some bulk action, deletion of selected elements for instance.
Price
When tapping over a price row, a dialog for editing the price will show up.
The next attributes can be defined for each price:
- Name.
- Base price: this price will be affected by Price multiplier, the tax defined for the business and the discount to be applied according to the quantity chosen, all of this in order to get the final price the customer will be paying.
It is possible to enter the Base price to obtain the Final price or the other way around, it means it is also possible to enter the Final price to obtain the Base price. |
- Price multiplier: is a coefficient defined at Price multiplier that will alter the Base price to obtain the Price of the item.
This parameter is visible only if Price multiplier is distinct from 1. |
- Price: is equal to Base price * Price multiplier.
- Apply discounts: take a look at Apply discounts for more information.
- Tax name - Tax value: the tax defined at Taxes.
- Final price: is the price that the customer will be paying but without the discount that apply according to the quantity of the item that is chosen.
The formula to get the Final price (without the discount that apply according to the quantity of the item that is chosen) is:
Final price = Base price * Price multiplier * (100 + Tax) / 100
Subtotal price = Final price * Quantity |
It is possible to enter the Base price to obtain the Final price or the other way around, it means it is also possible to enter the Final price to obtain the Base price. |
A shortcut of this option when viewing the list of elements in Price list is the eye icon. |
Apply discounts
It is possible to define many discounts for a price to be applied when the quantity of the item is equal or more than the given Units parameter.
When there is a discount defined with the Units parameter equal to 1, then the price without the discount and with strikeout type is shown in all views at the left or top side of the price with the discount applied. |
