ECatalog Manager/Preferences/General settings

This section of Preferences allows to define the next parameters valid for the current device:

• User role: Take a look at User roles for more information.

• Low light: If this option is enabled, the app will be saving battery by using a dark color theme in many screens.

• Sounds: If this option is enabled, the app will be reproducing sounds for some key events.

• Vibrate: If this option is enabled, the app will generate vibrate effects for some key events.

• Notifications: If this option is enabled, the app will be showing key events in the status bar of the device.

• Self locking of the app for inactivity: Take a look at Self-locking for more information.

• Autostart when the starting the device: If this option is enabled, the app will start automatically when the device starts.

• Always in the foreground: The application will be always in the foreground even when a user tries to get off from the app except using the command Exit only present in Superuser and Administrator roles.

• Immersive mode for Guest and Anonymous roles (also known as Full Screen mode): If this option is enabled, all the system menus will be hidden when the app is configured with Guest or Anonymous role.

• Synchronization: Allows selecting the interval of periodic sync processes.
