ECatalog Manager/Quick guide

The next steps show how quickly you can start using eCatalog Manager.

Account creation and activation

Create your own account from the registration form by filling a few fields and then use the Sign up button. The registration process will send an email to the address you entered containing a temporary password needed to activate your account. Once your account has been activated, you can start configuring the look and feel of the app and designing the menu/catalog you want to show to your customers. Business profile configuration

Set up the business profile from Configuration >> Business profile. There you can customize the look and feel of the app, the view type of the menu/catalog, and many other parameters. Take a look at Business profile for more information.

Catalog designing

Start designing your own menu/catalog by adding categories and items, to do this go to Configuration >> Catalog designer and then use the function Add from the toolbar. Take a look at Catalog designer for more information.

Setting up the User role

Configure the user role in each device according to who will be using it:

• If you want to present the menu/catalog to your guests without the ordering functionality, then set the user role to Anonymous.
• If you want to present the menu/catalog to your guests and allow ordering themselves, then set the user role to Guest.
• If you want to allow users to manage the content of your account or allow the management of orders, then set the user role to Administrator, and also choose subroles and privileges to customize the permissions of the user accessing to the app in a device.
• If you want to access the app with full privileges, then set the user role to Superuser.
